Abstract

This Exhibit was used as evidence in submissions to the Māori Land Court as a witness for succession to Towhare Marewa who died 1929. The whakapapa includes the names of over 200 tipuna and whanaunga who were hiers to Marewa Te Kahupake or Te Ruatareti of Ngāti Pou, Ngāti Awa, who died in the Tarawera eruption June 10, 1886.
